The shaft also features the patented and well proven SelectGrip surface treatment for optimal cement retention. To facilitate prosthetic work using traditional casting procedures Aurum Base pre-formed castable caps can be used. All Aurum Base screws have a flat seat to minimize tension when there is a slight misalignment between screw retained structures and implants.
